Petrify vs. Stonewind

I know I am rich, have a LQ gear pieces, and am a mage. I thought I was wierd though.

In theory the higher level spell should always be stronger, in practice I don't think this is always so. In any case if you are going to have enough lore trained to get stonewind then it is likely you will also be able to get petrify. If I recall correctly I have 14 lore, and am not really missing that many spells. You should have plenty to try out both and then let us know which is definitively better.

Warcow you also have to take in that stonewind goes off earth and death. so the total of the to is going to be if you beat there resists. ive already have been thinking of this too. thats why i am training earth on happy.
