Sometimes yee gotta ignore them Dwarf wimmen. They gets silly idears in there heads. It tis caused by them daily shaving their beards, which is a massive bummer fer male dwarfs to listen to them gripe about shavin.
Orcs still too evil to have a chance to be decent. Orcs were created to counter the creation of elves, in the fight between good and evil. Like goblins versus dwarves. Humans were created from the balance, Neutrality, so they drift to either side.
A half orc would be able to define its own life, either good or evil, without the stigma of its orc heritage.
The balance between Good/Evil, Law/Chaos are both a foggy issue in fantasy. The basic idea is in creation of many fantasy realms, is the battle between Good/Evil, especially among the older races. The creation of humans melded both opposing sides.
