Oh, I know all that, and it's quite understandable to get confused. I'm simply trying to perpetuate the truth; it seems that every time I make an art topic, I correct at least one misguided soul.

I've been working on this for the past hour or so, enjoy:

Ah, hey, whoops - forgot about the one-thread-per-personal-topic rule. Now, let's hope I can remember to post all my new stuff here - sorry 'bout that, Arilou.

Anywho, here's my newest:

Yeah, it's French.

I'm not certain how well I captured the idioms (lacking very little knowledge of French slang and idioms), but I think I managed to translate literally enough to be understood. If you really can't puzzle out what each is referring to, you can always use altavista's bablefish.

Halo, what? That's not Halo. That picture is entirely unrelated to Halo.

French because it's the only language I speak well apart from English, and it fits in with the story (aye, there's a story . . . somewhat blurry at the moment, but it's being worked on).

New image:

http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/4234/escape6lt.jpg

I decided to try my hand at a backdrop.

Ah, well, in that case, you are forgiven, and thanked for your opinions on my artwork.

As strange as that critique is, thankfully it's positive. Thanks.

Well, since that post, I've come up with this:

[img:1112f]http://img179.imageshack.us/img179/4411/rmt23rk.jpg[/img:1112f]

What do y'all think?

So is parading around in body-armour carrying a rifle; it tends to paint you a target for whoever might be toting a rifle.

Hey, woah, no insulting of anyone's art but mine in this thread, awright? Good.

Update: I'm being tasked to make a desktop background for my friend's dual monitors, so it might be awhile before I post anything new here. The idea that's rolling around in my head is this: view from the ground of a solar eclipse, snow-capped mountains as the background, an icy lake reflecting the eclipse, and an abandoned lighthouse on a small, rocky peninsula jutting into the water. Sound fun?

So, since I am incredibly indecisive and change my mind a lot, I recently revised my marine armour . . . [i:9ad04]again[/i:9ad04]. The result is following this message. I took a bit of thought, a bit of discussion, and a snow-day, and made this:

http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/4056 ... inezh3.jpg

So, Pan (the first fellow for whom I made a HoF pic) has asked me to draw his character for a forum-based D&D game . . . I obliged (after much snapping of the whip, as always), and this is the result:

He's an aquatic elf with a dire-ape and snake companion. Enjoy.

Last person do to that never got anything back, because I'm incredibly lazy and in order to get me to do work, you have to get out the whips.

*chuckles* As soon as I posted the message, I realized that I did, in fact, have a PM, hehehe . . . .

Thanks.

OCD comes in handy when it comes to drawing, but it can also cause you to linger too long on some details that will go unnoticed by the general population, hehe.

So I just got my scanner hooked back up, and as such I will show you some of the pen and pencil work I've been doing lately. Enjoy.

[b:ae3c4]In Art class, my current assignment is to create a short comic. These are to be the only characters in it - it's essentially just going to be a fight between the two. EDIT: For some reason, this one won't appear on the page, so just click the link.[/b:ae3c4]
