Life Mage = Cleric. A Using Paladin as a term to describe a Life Mage is ridiculous.

I was jsut pointng out that we already have a life mage type. The Paladins recieve +5 life, +70% HP, +10 swords.

All this life age would be is a weaker Paladin. (due to having -'s n weapons) Better at healing, but over all weaker. Why? there are 0 offenive ranged life spells. The closest to that is life blade.

A Paladin is a soldier of some holy order, given the ability to heal, and weapons training to fight evil. Monks are warrior priests, who use their combat skills, and powers of the mind to serve their diety.
A shaman, or a cleric, would be sort of difficult to define. They would not have that much of a improved melee skill, but would be a class that could support others in a group, healing, and casting resists, as most mages do anyway.
For a weapon bonus, it would probably be blunt. Life and meditation should also be a bonus, per levels in the guild.
