Music?

I was just curious as to what genre's of music all you wyverneers listen to. Myself, I prefer rap and hip-hop. Feel free to post your favorite bands/artists/rappers(to me, rappers are special).

My favorite rappers are:

Ludacris
The Game
and Lil Jon

I am very open minded and am willing to discuss almost any genre.

I like pretty much any rock..metal......stuff like that. NO rap or country though..I only listen to rock, pretty much <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_surprised.gif" alt="Surprised" title="Surprised" /><!-- s -->

Anyways, I like nightwish..green day..hinder...pink floyd..AC DC...Korn.............you get it.

I don't particularily like rock but I don't mind listening to it. If i had to choose between it and other genres, it would probably be somewhere around my 12-15th choice.....theres just so many genres, mostly because they are broken down pretty far, so many genres are similar.

I kind of dislike everything but Rock, pretty much. I mean, SOME country is ok..but only because I grew up listening to it and those were my favorites. there is no need to make lame, overused insults about other music genre's kingfry. Keep and open mind, I do, if i could have afforded a ticket i woulda went to the rolling stones concert when they came to regina even though i don't like them. If any really big artists came to regina i would probably go see them if i had the money, because it's a once in a life time opportunity, especially here in regina. Also different people have different tastes in music, hence why there is more than one genre of music. Just because you don't like a particular genre is no reason to bad mouth it. I'm sure there is many people who think the music you like is a heaping pile of you know. But many of them don't bad mouth it, and the ones that do shouldn't. Ever hear the saying &quot;If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all&quot;? Well if you haven't that rule now applies to this topic. I don't want to hear any trashing of genre's.

Lol...i trashed one genre...because it tecnically isnt really anything &gt;_&gt; think of this--most rap has these words (hope this wont be deleted, cause i am not being offensive)(well..on second thought...ill go around this)

another term for blacks, and other races

same reaccuring theme in most raps: (um, bleaped out so &gt;_&gt; we'll say the physical love between 2 people), rascism, drugs, violence

tell me one good thing about this ? besides it is something you like to hear...cause morally nothing is good, it sounds terrible, etc...

i only dislike country, and everything else i liked i said...so you are making a big deal of me bashing this rap as a type of &quot;music&quot; maybe it is you, good sir, who should not post here &gt;_&gt;

besides it is kind of hard to bad mouth the music i listen to, unless you want to bash everything but country and rap

Mad World by Gary Jules is a very nice song.

Besides that - Disturbed, Korn, Queen of the Damned OST, Papa Roach, stuff like that. No country &gt;.&gt; Everything else pretty much goes.

Kingfry, now..Ill be the first in line to say Rap Sucks, but, listen to him..don't badmouth any other genres in his thread. Just post what you dun like, and leave it at that. I believe, if he likes rap, he should be able to post about it without us interfering, even if we hate it.

heh..well i listen to mostly rap nd r&amp;b and yea rap has alot of that..most of it is that its pretty obvious but where the music comes from thats how the lives of some people are and people usually like to listen to music they can sometimes relate to..in the 'hood' thats what the majority of people listen to and we say things about rock that you would disagree on..like rock is all about screaming and jumping up and down boppin your head up and down..and im sure youd completely disagree with that..depends on where you comming from because where you come from has alot to do with point of view..dnt say rap isnt anything not all rap is about **** alot of rap has alot of meaning behind it....reminds me i used to listen to only rock and though rock was the most pointless genre..but then i started listening to it more and realized not all rock is retarded &lt;&lt;no offense if you are&gt;&gt; alot of them i can relate to somehow..soo...errr yea im dont blabbering

I mainly only listen to J-Pop. Nothing much else. Either J-Pop or japanese music pieces from Final Fantasy (Nobuo Uematsu FTW!).

Punk, Rock, Rock'n'Roll, SKA stuff like that

Rap is what it is,it keeps your ear to the streets......

And Nas may have signed to Def Jam for 2mil but i still have the same feelings toward Jay-Z that Nas had in his STillmatic Album......and oh yeah im the Mixtape Messiah....so if you guys need mixtapes from whoever in the rap game,i can get em just send me a PM via this or MSN

My musical tastes are eclectic at best. I don't like listening to any one genre straight.

Generally, I do not like pop music, or country, or CCM (which tries to be both).

To tell you what I do like, I would have to list many, many genres. Instead, here is the playlist to my favorite (and only good) radio station I can get.

Hinder is from my home town, okc, my friends brother wrote all there music and was the bassist and he got kicked out right before they went big =]
