I know I've been told several times that Arilou is a man, and I've even been threatened to stop. I don't think Arilou himself is a woman, but his screen name seems feminine to me. It's because of the "Lou" in it.
I am in no way suggesting that Arilou himself is feminine. |

Lou seems masculine to me. The vowels O and U always strike me as masculine.
The name Arilou always struck me as french, of some sort. |

Arilou is Male, Female and Neither. He is a creature that was born from out of Human's Nightmares. He is not from this Planet, or any Planet. He doesn't exsist and yet, he does exsist.
When we "Mortals" Die we must sit in judgement by Arilou. Naturally as his Favorite I will pass that judgement. |

The name Arilou always struck me as french, of some sort. [/quote:50e9a] Rhialto once told me he liked it because it reminded him of the French word for werewolf. Anyway, I am in fact a male and Lou sounds exactly like Liu which is a Chinese name that males have. An example of a fictional character with that name that you might be aware of is "Liu Kang" from Mortal Kombat. |

If Arilou was a woman, his areas would be filled with bunnies and deer and chipmunks and rainbows and wonder and imagination.
But they are not. |

Fools!
Arilou is a bot that Rhialto implented in WoW. He's a EXTREMELY RARE LQ wich will only be there once in the wyvern uptime (Yes, this means that wyvern is coming back up). The price of this LQ is unknown though, enchants say its Arilou's Staff. A weapon with feirce blows, that's only available for lvl 30+ characters. Others claim that its Arilou's Ring, turning the wearer into a bot. And forcing him to give his character to cyberspace. Noone realy knows why this LQ will only be up once, but a great sage once said: "Once, is once." Where do I get this info? I studied the Minath Elion Library, and various museums all over wyvern. However, the last piece of the puzzle, the one revealing WHO would be the mechanical wizards (this is how the enchant sage reffered to the 'topic'). The grate sage however said while saying his last words: "Death, is dead". These three words opened a whole now path of thinking. After some days of endless searching in the old scrolls, and searching for answers I got enough of it. I had to find the prized scrolls of bright answers. I got ready for the quest, and the last day before my departure, I went to the Besar Basement, for the last keg of ale I'd see in ages... I drunk to much, as always. Only a day later, I woke up with a big headache(Thanks!), and I found some scribblings in my notebook just before I was about to leave. They said: "Who causes death? Right! I know what yer thinking handsome!" and then some more on it, but the puke erased it. However, these drunkman scentences seemed to brighten up the darkness in my mind. Here, in my own, dirty, fat hands, I held the scrolls of bright answers. I started answering. Taking notes very fast. Looking into Wyvern's Thick Book. All deaths and births are noted in this book. All... I read for forthy days and slept for forthy nights, and not much later, I was done. The deathcount of one wizard was extremely high. Teshuvah's. But Mrs. T. couldn't be a bot could she? I mean, she has pets, and has a logical mind of thinking. So nu-uh. Second? Arilou and Binyamin Tied!? But Biny hasn't been online for quite a while. At least, he hasn't been seen. And from what the old books say; This bot is a big talker. Only Arilou was left. Arilou had to be the bad guy, alot of arguments are for this. The one that made me write this rubbish: What does his name mean + what is he? He's evil, and sometimes writes weird things He adores salkand? Only a AI can do this Then I drunk alot of ale. And i'm still sleeping |

Seriously, all the Wizardess areas are full of dumb NPCs that get in your way.
Uhh, Khaysti comes to mind almost immeadiately. I mean, details are nice but when you wrap them up and throw them out a window or overboard a ship y'know... But like, Arilou's areas are detailed as in they are very realistic. Like the goblin area in Amita. Goblins are slobs. But they are also organic living things and need necessicities and those are tucked in there. I like that. |

Funny you should mention that, Sirius. Binyamin puts a LOT of detail into his artwork and maps. That doesn't make him female. Binyamin and Teshuvah seem to have similar styles of mapmaking. I could be wrong, I could be right. Have you seen the tiles in his maps? They look like they took hours to make.
