Oh man.... Sprore is gonna rock so hard... One thing I hope they would pleeaaaseee have is the ability to make diffrent genders look diffrent. I haven't been keeping up with it so I don't know if thast gonna happen or not. They better have it, or it will be weird as hell to even attemp a SEMI humanoid race.

Mmmh. Games I'm looking forwards to would probably be Yggdra Union, which is supposedly made by the same people who made Riviera: The Promised Land. Speaking which, I'm also looking towards the PSP release of Riviera, which contains almost double the CGs and includes full voice acting.
Speaking of Halo, I was quite disappointed with Microsoft's decision to make Halo Wars. Essentially what it did was that it gave them an excuse to shut down the Halogen project. Kinda stupid now that you think about it. These guys worked for three years and Microsoft just tells them to stop, it's not like they were making money off of it either. |

Spore of course. I -heart- Will. [My idol.] NWN2 [Pre-ordered already, waiting for the pre-release toolset npw] Vanguard [new MMO, love the guys at Sigil, original creators of EQ, so you know it will be addicting.] Hero's Journey [Another MMO, this one made by Simutronics. Woo!!] Bioware's new, un-named MMO. [Using the Hero's Engine by Simutronics. ! Double goodness.] Jade Empire for the PC. [Bioware's game, on Xbox, ported to the PC soon.] Zelda: TP [Go Wii!] All the games for the PS3 [void all sport games.] Umm..thats all I can think of right now. |

NWN2 = Neverwinter Nights 2.
NWN1 was developed by Bioware, where as NWN2 is being developed by Obsidian. |

[/quote:83887] They only need to do one thing to make it all legal, remove all references to halo. The code, models, textures, all that is the guy's property, not microsoft's. Once he removes the references(ei: copyrighted names and trademarks) then it's back in business. Select the entire page for a cryptic quote. [/quote:83887] You, sir, have absolutely no knowledge of Halogen. It is, in actuality, a total convertion mod for a the game Command and Conquer: Generals (hence the "gen" part of the name). It took them three years just to get halfway done because of all the new things they had to add, seeing as Halo had pretty much NO structures and not enough varied units to make a decent RTS with. (I'm pretty sure that Halo Wars will be adding some units that weren't there in the Halo games) So yeah, basically they don't 'own' anything, they're just investing so much work and time to please both the fans of the Halo series and the Command and Conquer community. |

Ah, how could I forget the most important game -ever-. I've always loved the Phantasy Star series. Had PSO [Phantasy Star Online] V1 and V2 for the dreamcast. I didn't get the GC/Xbox versons, but I did play PSO:Blue Burst for the PC.
PSU -- Phantasy Star Universe comes out on the 24th, and I am -so- getting it. There is an online part as well, but its different in this one. In PSO, online and offline were the same. In PSU, offline = single player RPG, online = story is based in the future, after the events in the single player part. I don't remember how much it will be for the online, I am guessing around $8.99 or so, same as PSO:BB. If any of you ever get it, let me know. |

I want a PS3, but I am not going to stand in line to get one. Now..the Wii I may. I heard they were planning on around two million on release day. [PS3 will have around 500,000 on release, and a million by the end of the year.] The 360 had around 500,000 or so on release as well. So for the Wii, store should have around 50 or so. [Some more, some may have less.]
