Default Does Armor work?

I hear alot of rumors (I hate them so much) that the armor + on armor (Fancies of *>>armor +10<<*) >_> is fixed, and has for a while, but is it really true?! And if so, I hear it is very little protection.

So how much damage does it actually take off per hit?

The +armor on items do work, it has been for a while. You won't know what they do unless you test it, but the +armor is nearly useless unless u pk.

first, to correct those nasty nasty rumors, no armor bonuses on armors does not work, it hasnt work for ages (i believe around the time hurled got buged - or disabled) and it's probly not gonna work for some more ages, since the wizards (and no i'm not sure about this, this is a wild guess at best) are fixing minor bugs (nurfing <-- *cough*, making monster img's, maybe trying to fix/make a quest area) while R is left to fix the bigger ones on his own (like hurled, armor, and several other melee problems)

and until it's gonna be announced in the news that "several bugs have been fixed!" dont get your hopes up about using armor + armors

It does work fool go do your research before u post. The only way to know what they do is by testing, i've done it and I know for a fact it works.

IF you were calling me a fool, I would do the research, just don't have the money or resources (armor with armor +) or time so meh!

Then don't say it isn't working if you don't know, especialy if its only from hearsay, anyways, i got it straight from a wizard that it works, and that was awhile ago, so if it was almost done, they finished it. Don't just say things becuase you think that your friends heard that it was broken.

The AC in armors is broken(a platemail protects same as cloth robe, they seem to not protect from any damage whatsoever) but not the BONUSES on the armors like +duribilities, armor, agility ect..

I can tell you now Elven Cloak of Agility +10 and Armor +10 is no better then just plain agility.

I tried it with a Wyvern, one of my favorite monsters. I had one with +10 Armor and one with no armor. The Wyvern did the same amount of damage in the same magnitude (ex smashed you with a bone-crushing sound). So, anyone else want to test it?

Someone prove that it works. Please.

You halfwit you call that a test?? You know how MANY different types of attack their is in this game?? Stab,Cut,Smash, fire, magic, water, shock until u test all those don't come up with conclusions.

Explain how it will work at all on different types of damage, you poo-for-brains.

If it doesn't work for one, what other kind will it? You do tests, then. Prove us wrong without pulling stuff out of your bottom.

Explain? why should i explain something to you king of ****ies you are too dumb for me to waste my time explaining. You know nothing about this game so don't try to help people cause what good is it for an un experienced player like you to help a new player, you just end up giving them false info.

You guys are going around this all wrong, dont test against monsters. Test against people, much more controlled enviroment. I'll even make suggestions. Test with a low level (15) with a slow attack speed lets say a naga serpent and a stone giant just to make sure the diffrence in damage doesn't throw it off. You need a slow attacker so you can count the HP each hit. Don't go off the damage messages. They don't give you an accurate write down the remaining hp after each hit and do some math. Once you find out the damage of each hit, and have several hundred hits worth of data, average it. Wear a full set of diamond armor and a cloak of the lion(highest pure AC cloak in the game.) Test. Go Naked, test. Wear the lowest AC armor there is but with +10 Armor modifiers. TestIf you keep everything constant, except for the armor set being tested you'll get fairly accurate results. Might I suggest a slow +10 club

Yeah it sounds fairly drawn out, but when you do testing like that you eliminate any doubt, even the wizards aren't a 100% sure about AC not working properly.

The stuff R handles he handles because he built wyvern, the active wizards though skilled come no where near close to Rs ability to work on the code, with the exception of Raeden who is a programmer himself from what I hear. Its not Teshes or any others fault they can't delve into the massive program that R built and find this bug.

One thing slowness-10 and inaccuracy-10 weapons are the OPPOSITE, even tho the wizzards say they double negatives don't work. So if u want a very cheap good weap for a low lvl go with slowness-10. But keep in mind the fragile and damage-10 weaps are what they say they are.

If that was to Dorion, I think you didn't read correctly, cause he said club of slowness +10, not club of slowness -10. Dorion is all knowinG! DoN't coRrect him! Or even try! D
