It wont make it overpowered, at least not very much. It a rather well known fact that monks DO meditate, But the way meditation works in this game it does not make THAT much sense but it still does in some ways. Its just makes sense from an Rp point of view, thats all. Meditation makes sense for mages to recover mana, but it dosent make sense for mages to meditate, i mean, how many wizards do you see meditatiing between spells? Monks on the other hand, makes at least, if not more sense for them to "meditate" to regain mana. Ever see one of those Chinese movies with the monks casting spells and flinging paper charms all around? yeah, kinda like that. But, then again, the monks you see in game are more the european type of monks. But this makes even less sense: European monks never practiced any form of martial arts or self defense (at least in real life as far as i know) so why do they get unarmed skill? If anything, They should be a sort of Paladin Subtype! So, if we are getting a mix between all the kinds of monks in the world, then it makes sense for them to get meditation in some ways. But it dose NOT fit the whole character that monks are supposed to be i this game (in Some ways, i know, this is getting confusing) so, getting a little bit of meditation makes sense. But then again, what skill does only fits halfway, and then another halfway becuase of what monks are supposed to be in this game. (Then again, i never saw one of those NPC wimps put a good fight) So, in the most basic way, it makes sense, and in the most basic way, it dosent. so its fits about 1/4 of the way. So, it makes more sense for something like this: Guild Specific Emotes. But then in the emotes, some of it will get crisscrossed, like say, if you had a pray emote. It would have to go both to Paladins AND monks, if not ALL characters, Becuase There are chapels everywhere. (and i'm not saying have it pray to any specific god/thing/diety) So, some would be guild specific, but specific to multiple guilds, like say pray, and also, chant, as Monks might chant, but mages would have to have it to becuase, cant they have a magical chant? So, this is getting garbled, but i think possibly the way for it to make sense is for them to get a "Meditate" Emote, but it would be a hard choice for whether or not mages get it. I have to make myself stop now becuase this could become multiple pages long. thats all for now then.

No, They would be Emotes. Nothing more. I'm just saying it kinda makes a litte more sense for Monks to be able to "Meditate" than have the skill.

Like i said it would just make more sense to give monks a Meditation Emote. More emotes dosen't hurt anything.

Medi should replace healing, or u can make the medi bonus less if u think its too cheap, but i think that just makes more sense.

I think monks got healing because monks prayed and meditated to cure disease and, well, heal themselves.

European monks were usually experts in staffs or broadswords in Real life.
