Nice idea, interesting, but all those giants are gonna have sour grapes and act like idiots if this is implemented and scream about all their expensive items becoming useless to them. I kinda like it

No not the fact that giants might get upset, the idea

That's all well and good, but you forget about the multi-hit monsters, ie. the beholders and monopods. Do you mean to tell me that you'd be happy getting a max of 7 hits before you're potentially pummelled repeatedly? The monster hits are fine the way they are.

On the other hand, the dodge is intruiging.

No, no, I'm not saying that the attack speed should be the same. I didn't mean that. I meant that it's stupid for monsters to be able to hit so many times, as the thread suggested earlier. Attack speeds [b:a8d0b]should[/b:a8d0b] change. Although giants are slower than elves, and nagas and humans. I just disagree that monster speeds should be hacked up to such an extent.

Yeah, the only difference with that is, that mages can attack from further away, and spells such as teleport get them out of any potential danger. The only time that mages struggle to kill are in LQs. Or against diamond golems and the "big exp" monsters.

Like Minimuz said, it is probably best left as it is. I think the wizards have already jacked up the power of certain monsters (either that or I'm just getting hit more! haha), so, we'll leave it to the genius of Rhialto and co. to sort it out, I think.

But wouldn't it be scary to fight a monopod who can hit you 8 times when you can only hit it like, 5?
