What program was used to make this game?

This question is in this board because the description "Ask, answer, and provide information regarding the game or forum." but if you feel it should be in off topic then move it.

I want to know if there an editor (even if custom made) that the creator use. I want to know because I am planning to make a MUD (with graphics) for my friends to mess around with.

I would love any information that could be given. Even though I doubt any of it will be useful for my goal. I believe the creator made the game by scratch at the current moment.

I also have a 2nd question. Is Binyamin still a wizard or do he even play anymore?

Binyamin is and will most likely always be a wizard. As far as I know he does not get on very often, but he was on yesterday.

Wyvern was originally created in Java using the Jython engine for wizard extensions.

Other languages were also used along the way, so you might find scraps of Ruby or Perl (maybe others) if you would be able to go through the source.

And yes, it was created from scratch
