Default Naga shifting

When shifting into hydra form it takes 30 seconds to put on the equipment. If a hydra needs bypass an obstacle, it must shift into a smaller form, then shift back into hydra. On larger open maps this isn't bad, but on many maps it's a great inconvenience and several other maps are unplayable due to the great risk during those 30 seconds.

1:
A simple solution would be to remove the time delay that it takes*to put on equipment. But that delay was put in for a reason, so if this is implemented there should be a delay in taking off the equipment.
0 delay when equiping, 1 delay when unequiping

1b:
Split the difference.
1/2 delay when equiping, 1/2 delay when unequiping

2:
Giants also have the problem of being large in some places, but they have the ability to shrink while wearing all their current equipment. (with a penalty of 1/3 hp and -10 str) A similar spell (shift) for nagas would also be greatly appreciated.

Small Hydra (Only castable while in hydra form or tiny hydra form)
Size: 1x2
HP Ratio: 1 (same as naga form)
Carrying capacity: 90 (Same as naga form) Or 140 (hydra) -10 str

Tiny Hydra (only castable while in small hydra form)
Size: 1x1
HP Ratio: 1/2 (same as viper)
Carrying capacity: 60 (Same as viper) Or 140 (hydra) -15 str

Notes: all other abilities (including mana drain) would be the same as hydra.

All players have the same delay when putting on equipment.

Hydras have some inconveniences that they have to deal with that come as a compromise for even being able to shift.
You don't want the delay, run around in cobra problem solved.

But you want the power of the higher shifts, You want 5 attacks (giants never get 5 attacks) that comes with these inconveniences. The balance of power comes with you needing to be aware of your surroundings more and being aware more of when you will need to shift.
You wont ever instantly shift.
The equipment delays are there for a reason.
