I was bored... so guess what? I decided to play around with Wyvern client settings!! (These playaround "tweaks" involve editing of Wyvern configuration files)
Playaround #1: You unchecked remmeber password and name under the wyvenr client settings, yet you want the client to remember names. Simple! Open wyvern\client in your Wyvern client folder, and open it in notepad or any other simple text editor. Under user =, type in you username. EX: user = Tato If you login to another char and logout, the username field in the Wyvern Client remains whatever you set it. Playaround #2 Ever wanted to change that dull background behind your inventory? Your chat window? The Wyvern startup screen (the map) You can! Extract client.jar (its an archive) and locate client.ini In the section called # colors and backgrounds is where the targets are stored. The files it links to are located in art/client (inside the client.jar extracted folder). Place your images there. In client.ini are several other good settings, but amny of them can be changed via the wyvern client (View -> Settings) Heres the tricky part: I tried compresssing the folder as .zip and chnaged the file extension to .jar, but thta didn't seem to work. Instead, I used WinRAR to "add the files" i added or changed into the client.jar. I'm pretty sure you can just rename (or, if you want, delete, though it is not adivsed) client.jar and keep the extracted folder there, and the Wyvern client will get the files from there Notes: In client.ini, at the bottom of the file, there is a huge section on skins. Unfortunately, I have not gotten this to work, and I believe it requires editing of client.ini.Local Tell me if you figure it out/have problems THIS IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS |

Jar is the Java compression file. You can actually unjar the Jars and run wyvern without it having to uncompress the jars. Just extract all the files from the Jars into the wyvern directory and run using Launch.bat, because the executable automatically downloads the Jars if it can't find them.
