Default naga only guild

Basically, this guild is a naga only guild.

1. 1 pole arm skill bonus per every guild level
2. 1 lore skill bonus at guild levels 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
3. 1 water skill bonus at guild levels 2, 4 ,6, 8, 10
4. Maybe a 8% hp increase per level. (Normal form only.)

To gain guild xp, you fight with polearms or shape shifting forms.

What do you think of this idea?

Nagas already have a guild. It's called monks.

Race only guilds are incredibly restrictive and places emphasis on the imbalance between races.

Besides, Cavemen and Monks are better choices with the benefits you listed.

I mean you'd probably have to solve cult of aquator to joina naga only guild.

We don't even have a guild for every fighting type, and you're suggesting a racially restrictive guild. I must say, I'm not so keen on it.

To be absolutely general here, what you're asking is only thought through from your point of view. Ask yourself a few things. What quest makes sense to get in? (Klodin's right in saying you'd likely have CoA as your only option). What purpose is there in making it one race only? How much trouble would it be to make the guild, AND restrict it to a single race for a wizard?

More into that last one, hp bonus only to your normal form? That right there is some coding. And I in no way envy that coder.

While I'm not one to enjoy the generic "all nagas should be monks" or any similar view, they can really do better in other guilds.

Although I would love to see a polearm guild, eventually.

Said coder is a wizard. Probably Senior or Elder.

Oh, I'm quite aware. But I still don't envy them one bit. Oh the debugging that would ensue...

It takes longer to make a set of good maps than implementing that code.

Albeit, mapmaking is much more fun.

Your right, its only a thought in my point of view. Its just an idea that I wanted to share and I agree, a pole arms guild would be awesome at least.

Eek, +150% HP? If a giant joined the results would be catastrophic.

Well the giant variations of the armor should weight in the enighbourhood of 800 lbs. to balance it. Or we could just bar giants saying that they can't properly utilize polearms since they're like toothpicks to them.

I wanted the impression of slow but durable.

Yeah, I thought of a polearms guild with the same basic idea, except the focus was more on reeeally good armor, instead of a HP bonus.

But Armor don't have AC at the moment so it's a moot point.

By the time any guild we suggest ever gets implemented, it may be fixed.

in that case yes, substitute hp for +1 AC per level or every 2 levels.

So revamped, it would look like so:

Upon Joining:
+ 5 AC
- 30% to all resistances
- 5 in all non-polearm weapons
- 5 all arts, elements and meditation

+ 1 to polearms every level
+ 1 strength every 2 levels

Ability to collect bounties past level 5
Access to polearms shops with some VERY heavy halberds and armor. If you want to stay in guild, expect to be encumbered. (Armor should weigh 100 lbs+ but offer suitable bonuses)

Imperial Guardian

Defender
Honor Guard

Soldier
Pikemen
Lancer
Trainee

They should get some healing skill as well. Maybe ten.

I thought of that but Pikemen don't really heal. They're not really training their bodies. Just learning how to use the best armor. So I left healing out.
