Default Halfling Charger

I'm going to propose a new type of build (as far as i know ) but I need some help seeing the weaknesses that I may be over looking.

The idea is to make a Halfling, mage guilded that uses mana shield, cast resists, and casts charging on and then uses wands (DB, T-storm) for training.

Stats trained @ lvl 25 would look something like this. I am not counting guild bonuses or other add ons in this.

Incantation; 3
Fire Magic 13
Life Magic: 7
Lore: 7
Meditation: 7
Merchant: 5
Spirit Magic: 25
Water Magic: 13
Air Magic: 13
Earth Magic: 7

What are the issues a build like this might face?

I do not have any experience charging wands so I may be missing something fairly obvious. Thanks for any helpful replys!

Using charged DB/ThundeStorm wands is not going to work out very well for the simple reason that you'll never find enough of them. I suggest a build like this though (trained at 25)

20 Spirit (Use items to increase when charging/enchanting)
20 Earth (Use items to increase when charging/enchanting) (For Strength spell)
25 Whips
10 Strength
15 Med
10 Healing

25 Spare skillpoints for Lore, FW, Arts

using db and t-storm wands will take forever, they are like 10x weaker than getting 25 fire and using fireballs. If you were using petrification and death ray wands then you could train faster. but the wands magic lvl is somewhere around 5 to 10, which is very weak and doesn't work on most high lvl monsters. also charging wands so many times will blow them up. And its gonna take upwards of 5+ casts of db,t-storm to kill any decent xp monster.

What is the point in this? I tried this on my enchanter a while ago and it sucked. I had 25 spirit and earth. I had an alias like "cast charge;fire wand" thinking i would get to use free db,thunderstorm, petrify, death ray ect... But they blew up. And take forever to kill too. And when you petrify a monster it blocked the path, so....

Umm, that's 125 skill points. Halflings do not get five skill points per level, thank goodness.
