Default Can't connect to www.cabonchon.com? Here is how to connect to game.
Seems dns server doesn't like us anymore

But you can still connect to game

Here is how:

As usual select 'Game' from the menu, then 'connect'.

When the 'Connect to Game' popup box comes up, replace the text 'www.cabochon.com', in the 'Game Server' field, with the following

207.229.97.12

And you should connect. Yay.

Just "typed" with R, he is working on it frantically
Will keep you updated.
Until then use the above info to connect to the game and to the web page.

Default can't download game
even though you can get on the website, it wont let me download the game. >.< can anyone send me a link of the windows version of the installer or something? thanks.

Game and Web site are back to normal.
If you still can't connect just reboot your computer and it should be fine.
Rhialto just renewed the game DNS for 5 years, so if anyone wants to help support the game, now is a good time

I still can't get to the website, I keep getting redirected to the main domain site, with the message

cabochon.com expired on 07/29/2008 and is pending renewal or deletion.

Default still wont work for me =(
ok well the website work for me for like a second, then when i tried to download the game it sent be to that page saying about the domain n stuff. then after that the website itself didnt even work for me. >.< and i also rebooted my computer when i saw your reply.....

Yeah, anatil, for some reason it seems to have reverted back to that. However, a few minutes ago it was the normal website again. Just try again a little later.

No, there is only one server.

Server have set IP addresses. The IP address is the actual location on the internet.

Domain names are merely easy to remember pointers to an IP address.

For example if you put "209.85.129.147" into your browser location bar, you'll get the google homepage.
