selling whirlys for 1750 each (usualy 2000)

Whirlys are a sellers market. If someone needs them bad enough, they will pay 2000, sorta like ress scroll inflation, lol

Whirlys still one of the best axes for low to medium level players. Get the cold damage bonus.
Most of the axes you find in dungeons have level caps, as the forged axes do. And the guild axes usually run from 4k to 9k,up to +10 damage, speed, and durability. A big secret is the guild axes don't have level caps, so lower level folks can use them.
But a 2000 investment in a whirly is not really that bad, just keep it repaired, and keep a spare in case yee forget to appraise it.And if you sell them for min, keep a spare if someone gets desperate, lol. Good moneys fer training.

you can eliminate the weapons corroding. Just wear Black DSM 2 rings of acid resist and an ammy of greater protection. Atleast my Giant Sihon has a steel club and it no longer corrodes when I fight any acid recoil monster. (it did before I got the above gear.)

then explain why when I don't wear my acid set my club will take corrosion. and when I do wear my acid stuff It lasts and lasts and lasts.... without wearing the acid gear I can take 1 mabey 22 shoggies before needing to repair it. Once I wear my acid gear, I have taken 15 shoggies (without repairing it) and it is still only slightly worn?

I have a massive steel club. and I only found it a week before the server went down. In that time I was trying o figure out why it was doing that because I figured acid resist on you does not affect your weapons. All I was able to learn was that it only worked when I wore all my acid gear and an ammy of greater protection.


Hmmm... could a wizard look at this and let us know if this is indeed a bug?

yes it does happen and no I am not stupid.

nope... I was just trying to get as immune to Recoil and go shoggie hunting... then I realized my club was not corroding. (infact it was damaging like the monsters were non acid monsters.)

I really have no clue..... but I have actually found and reported (and was told by wizzies later) original bugs that no one else had found yet....



(one was the non-damaging armor you could do it to any type of armor too.... It got fixed I think.)
