Raks have many bad points and good points:

They have powerfull natural claws
And actually they can use weapons,such as axes as well as other races
They are the second or third strongest races,meaning have much strength and attack fast
they are the cutest race >.> heh

They can't wear ANY shields and gloves,so they lose 20 dodging.Even if you joined monks guild,it is same because they're unable to wear boots
Only rogue guild makes them reach 50doding without training
They are bad at archery,but if you make them archers,you don't have to care about their subweapon
Terribly,they can't join paladins guild,and they say raks are useless at using swords!

Ehhh, Raks were the best paladins, no? Isn't that why they were banned from the guild?

It was done for rp purposes very soon after the race was made. It came with making it so paladins couldn't be evil and remain in the guild, so naturally it wouldn't have made sense for a race a wizard just made and said were demonic, to be in a paladin's guild.

but dark elfes are able to be paladins. and i think if we want be rp like, then giants and drawf and halflings shopuld not be able to be mages

That was because at the time there was no other guild for them and they were extremely weak as is so forcing them all to be mages/archers, while excluding them from the only fighting guild, was unfair. Therefore, for rp purposes it was said on the website that the council of paladins were deciding on if their membership should remain or not. As time goes on and you see more things added to the game these things left over will be fixed, but until then enjoy being a dark elven paladin.

Dark Elves are evil by Nature, not nescasarily born that way, but their culture kinda teaches it to them, while many Rakshasa's might actualy be good and not evil, they are all born demons,and Paladins are.. in dunno &quot;Avatars of the Light&quot; and demons are simply demons, and that cant be changed, while just being plain sick, twisted and evil like so: <!-- s:twisted: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif" alt="Twisted Evil" title="Twisted Evil" /><!-- s:twisted: --> , can be changed.

Paladins have been getting popular too. It must be the flavor of the month.

True, but Paladins are famous for being racists who only see things in black and white; good and evil.

thats what i meant, its reasonable (i mean if you reason it a certain way) that Rakshasa's arent aloud into the Paladins guild... you always seem misinterpret anything i say

That's becouse Durango got alot of XP pretty fast, but if RD'n is the only thing that you do, and you don't talk alot, anyone can reach that goal.

I think that Rak Lions, or Leopards are the best raks. Tigers just have a little bit more HP, but when joining cavies this doesn't make a big difference.
The fear immunity wich lions get, is more usefull than the 2 more hp every level to my opinion.
And Rak Leopards get the leaping ability. I think that they can leap over bigger creatures to, so the leaping ability can save them alot.

Well, Lions are definately good. I mean, the HP/SP is on par with Humans, so that could be a good/bad thing and the fear immunity saves you the 100 gold for potions and the 30k gold for the Hero's Ammy, the two being the only options raks have against fear without skull shield other then bravery.


Leopards are fast and the leaping ability is good against monsters since they have to turn and face you. I used to have a leopard myself and he was devilishly fast, but you can't leap over everything until higher levels. I wish I knew the level chart for that.

Tigers are really good I think, but true, they lack other bonuses.

Well, leaping ability isn't available in some maps.
rakpards have low hp and sp not high, they are worst raks i think...they are cutest and fun though.
Lions are most balanced

dark elf are bad. saying that they can be good is sensesless talking, they where born bad, and they are proud of been bad, they are dark cos they are bad, their souls are corrupted, for living so much time in caves, they hate all living beens, so they are worse that orcs.
