New kind of shield(s)

what about for negatives just: -40+ sp, and like the whirly axe the shield could make the user go berserk (instead of a giant frost wave), and maybe something like an auto spell casts (on the wearer) - spells like: paralize, slow, confusion, anything that would make it a pain to fight...because a shield that makes the fighter be a juggernaut he should have some difficulty just to balance out his/her tremendous strength and skill
