Too many players online - try again later

I checked the wyvern main page, and only 69 players are listed as being on-line. Is anyone else having this particular problem trying to get on the game?

There has been a player cap implemented to *greatly* increase stability. It is temporary, but will continue until Rhialto feels having more players won't continually crash the server. (which is bad in many ways)

As soon as I saw the message given by the client, I assumed as much. However, I'm somewhat upset about this. While I'm sure online players were given such information, those of us that have busy schedules and are just now trying to get on were given no notice of any kind. They didn't even bother to put it up on the website.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not upset about the cap. I just wish someone would've told us sooner.

Considering it's a free game that is provided as is, that doesn't really hold up. That's something you say about a game that is trying to make a profit and its bottom line is hurt by scorning players.

To add some optimism to my post, at least the server won't crash as much now.

It hasn't crashed once since. Where as the day before it crashed around 10 times.

I have a great deal of respect for you, Arilou, and you're absolutely right on this one: my statement does not hold up, and I must apologize for it, as it was a matter of bad wording on my behalf. I am not a scorning player, and did not intend to appear as such. My post has been edited to clear up it's meaning.

There is no line system implemented.

It's more of a "fire till you tire" system.
