RP Armor

Something that I would dearly love to see in Wyvern is RPish armor.

Back in the olden days Warriors/Soldiers would convert some of thier pay into gems when times were good and they had extra $$$ then place these gems in patters on thier armor. Later they could use these to pay for anything.


So I think it would be really nifty if we could place purchased gems "on" our armors with word descriptions of the pattern for others to ooh and ahh over.
not only that but it would be a cool way to store your $$$ instead of in a bank. also these gems would not affect armor in any way other than being cool.

I'm really not to fond of this idea, but for further clarification could you possibly elaborate on this idea?

i don't really like this because if you put gems on your armor and you want it to look diff they would have to change every armor pic and that would take forever to do

Make the gems shoot lasers and I'm all for it.

*clarification* it would not make the pics ANY different.


When someone "looks" at you (with the LOOK command) it will give the following:

Narhalles the something er othe and blah blah blah,
is wearing a shining set of platemail with a beautiful picture of a Dragon made with emeralds, rubys, saphires, and diamonds.

The Emerald dragon has rubies for flame, emeralds for it's scales, saphires for it's eyes, and diamond claws.



etc. that is my basic idea.

I don't think this is good Idea at all.....just being able to set your description is enough....this would be a waste of time to create......just like many of my ideas.....

this would be a great way to make money tho because lets say you have a chain mail and its like 200 gp to sell and you put a gem on it. that would make that price go higher so it would be like 300 gp something like that but i still don' like this idea

I already sell my gems though... without putting them in armor. Enjoying the flight of a pixie has its costs in strength, but a big bag full of gems is always quite nice.
