E-Mail Notification

Just wondering, are the wizards or anyone gonna set up E-mail notification for when Wyvern comes back, or do we just have to wait and check the forums every single day?

We will mass email all players signed up on Pollux's forum announcing that the game is up. So, whatever email you have listed on the account you have on that forum (not this one) is the one you should check.

This will probably make the forums a lot less active now that people know this, and then the wizards have less work trying to read everything and editing w/e needs to be edited !

people have been knowing about the mass e-mail, I knew about it a long time ago (long time is about 2-3 months for me) I don't understand what the suprise is...

Obviously people have been told about this already, and the forums are not dead. Even know, if everyone just found out, I doubt there will be a sudden wave of inactivity. Many of these guys... Well, yea. They'd still be here, even if its dead.

yeah, I check every day just to keep in contact with people and check for any new updates, gives me something else to do in the day lol.

Just, fyi, when the game returns users on both this forum and the other one will now receive an email notification (before I was only going to email those on the other forum). The reasons for that are that there have been users who signed up on this forum because they were unable to do so on the other one and because of that/other incidents I am not so confident in people's ability to receive email from that forum for whatever reason.

As such you may want to check the email you have listed for this forum and make sure it is the one you check most often. Also, if you don't trust that you will receive an email from your previous experiences with the phpBB forum you might want to make an account here, if you have not done so already, just so your email is on the list. Just note that this means there's a possibility you will receive two emails about the game returning.

As a side note I'd like to take this time to say that I expect to be able to give everyone a new update within the next month. However, don't hold me to that as it depends entirely on what happens on Rhialto's end. My point here is simply that from my perspective another update (which can be shared with players) looks hopeful for the near future. For complete clarification, all this means is that I expect to have a progress update for you to read within the next month, not that I expect the game will return in the next month. Please do not run around saying that I said the game will return next month and getting your hopes up due to your inability to read a simple sentence. I know that most of you would never have such a problem, but because there is always one or two people out there like that I feel the need to put these stupid disclaimers into everything I say these days. *sigh*
