What you said does nothing for the fact or justifies your earlier statement that "even with 90% shock resist, my 18 air and static blade can beat anyone in PvP" when in fact you will be doing the same amound of damage that the mage did to you in PvP. -.-

Okay how about this Narhalles....I dunno about now but when i was one of the best PKers....Every smart pker used all their element resist spells in the arena just because you dont know what youll run into while in there...And the community has found more things out and gotten smarter in most places and dumber in some...For example you are the latter.You don't know what you're talking about period.

....I never made it to lvl 30....I was only lvl 28...


....Also even though i was only level 28 i could still easily maul lvl 30's....Like Brach and such,just thought i should note that before someone attempts to attack my experience in the pk game.

I personally like rangers.....I just wasn't skilled enough to make one work out well....always got stuck at level 13........darn halflings just wouldnt level.....

Yeah, I've never made one, but ever since I started reading their builds, and hearing how fast they level, I have become practically obsessed. Pretty weird.
Hopefully I'll be able to figure out the quest on this one... Never had a guilded char XD *im such a "low level player"*

Heh. With all of this 'hype' about rangers, you would think that there would be more then a couple of ranger HoF's maybe? People are always telling their 2 cents on a subject even if it doesn't affect them, or they just don't know.

Here is something that should be cleared up.

Ready for it? OK. Here it goes.

Rangers can level up the fastest. This means that with an experienced player, with an experienced build, with the right gear, can level up the fastest. This does not mean that they will level up, or that you will even stay alive long enough to even keep interested in a ranger, before quitting.

Think of it like this. A ranger is actually really fragile, and if you are not experienced in training with a solid character, then training with a ranger, is just asking for death. If you cannot train on a solid character and run from what you don't like, or if you still need to have a 'quit' alias, then Rangers are not for you.

Same goes for archers, and rogues, and some classes of monks. Most of these classes are reserved for the experienced players in an unspoken rule. It is only natural that the experienced player go for something harder, and in the end, better.

I bet that with all the hype on all these rangers, and with all the people saying that they are going to make a ranger their first hof, that 95% of these people will die too many times before level 18 and give up. If not dieing enough before level 18 won't discourage you, then the quest, and money, and items definitely will.

I'm one of the people he's talking about isn't ready. I did the whole dying thing, but I powered on past 18, so I'm at 23 now. I'm gonna HoF me a pixie ranger. And he's gonna suck, but I won't mind, I don't need it to be good enough for anyone else, as long as it's good enough for me =P

Kinda old, but you are the one who talks big, but are quite small. If you cant handle the big boyz, you shouldnt talk at all. The big boys for you anyways are level 20+

Ok but why are Rangers so much faster levelers? They have the worst bonuses of the guilds. Their only good bonus is the Death magic and the bonus that gives to Magic Whip still leaves them way behind on Diamond and Elec weapons. Is it that Magic Whip needs no repairs? Is it that Rangers allow Elves to actually be a good meleer?
