I don't have too many problems with the hunger system but I do agree it goes down a little fast,if you can leave NV it shouldn't be the slightest problem granted all the free food in places such as Minath,I always have at least one bag packed with food.
As much as I disliked the fact that corpses don't do anything anymore I prefer it now because I actually have to worry about the hunger bar,but it really does not make sense to eat something twice your size such as a Blue Reaver and it does nothing at all to help you.

I like Rhialto's idea regarding skills,I'd rather be having a little bit of a struggle to afford everything then being able to just immediately get your skills and concentrate your money on other things,I myself am quite overjoyed when I still have unused skillpoints.

Something that could be done to help starting people is maybe lowering the % of exp you lose when dying, since no matter how you look at it death is imminent at least once when you start off.

I really forgot what I was gonna say so I improvised ._. But I know that one thing I would love to see is Wyvern flourishing and having a good solid amount of people playing it

The playerbase will return when the gameplay becomes more seamless and the rewards are greater.

We are one game that allows the player to regulate their own loss of XP. Use the skill Spirit Travel. Then it is up to you the percentage you lose when you die.

Greater rewards mean greater difficulty. That is what balance is about. That people got used to too much too soon, too often, is what we are working on balancing now.

Video game rewards can vary greatly, they don't have to be power or wealth. A lot of games implement friendships with NPCs after completing a quest, or giving players vanity items, titles, access to visually appealing areas with no affect on game play. Currently the most popular system in games is the achievement system where players are rewarded for the most menial tasks. With any type of increased reward system, even just a pat on the back, players find games more meaningful. Just something to consider, you don't have to give them gold or weapons.

Yes, a greater (in the sense of a wider range) of rewards are things you will likely see at some point. However, you need to work on your wording - If you're going to use the word, "greater" in the context of game rewards, nobody is going to get that you are not talking about rewards that are more valuable to your character's development unless you specify as much.

I agree, and to add to what Arilou said, we do offer many other non-battle-important items in the game, vanity items, fun items, etc.

speaking of monk footwear. I think the monks guild should have special footwear for monks only. Like sandals or the foot-wrap mummy looking thing. Also the monks guild should give +1 staffs for all non Rak/Nagas to be able to use the monks guild.

Monks will never have footwear, if you have issues with that please take it up with Legolas, good luck If they ever do,then the guild will lose +10 in agility bonuses (that is one reason they got it was because of inability to get it in shoes).

Staves are available in the mage guild store, mages dont get negs in staves. It is assumed staves are a there for mages secondary weapon.
Raks will have -7 in staves as soon as that is fixed

Does this mean I can expect Rakss to have -7 in all weapon skills except for unarmed sooner or later?

Yes. The negative in Melee was removed and it was supposed to be replaced with -7 to all other weapon skills, it just wasnt finished. It will be eventually.

The reason I left Wyvern was the shock and frustration I was in after the gameplay changes. I HoFed Spado quickly. He was a full healing, full platinum wearing tank. Full healing was brokenly awesome, resists like bravery and free action were incredible, and the confusion immunity and DRay immunity from all the platinum was wonderful. Pretty quickly after HoFing, change came. Within a very quick span of time, the hours I had put into Spado to play him a certain way were all for naught, as I had to readjust his build. It was hard. No point in the career of that character were things hard, and it was a new, albeit somewhat unwelcome, feeling. It wasn't the fact that things changed, or even how they changed, my biggest problem was when they changed. I would've had to learn the game all over again. I decided not too.

Someday, sooner or later, I hope to return to Wyvern on a consistent basis and start a brand new character, and play the game with the wonder and awe I had playing it casually 5 years ago. Maybe after a stat wipe?

You just fail if you dont know how to readjust your character to stay alive.
