Goodbyes Are Sad...

Dear fellow Wyvernites,

Um. Wasn't going to do this for a while, at least a year or two. But this is pretty opportune. I'd like to take this post to say goodbye, as I'll be quitting Wyvern forever.

I found Wyvern four years ago, when I was still in high school, and played avidly all throughout my time before and after the hiatus. I had a lot of good friends and a lot of good times, and I wouldn't have missed it - but it's time to move on. Wyvern is only a game and I could be doing thousands of other things.

Thank you to my original friends: Layzee, Nightswift, Ignignok, Edo, and Lacuna.
Thank you to my new friends: Then (yes, I only befriended one more person after hiatus).
Thank you to my favorite wizards: Binyamin (I'll never forget Cisco Goldstein, and a Hybru signature), and Teshuvah (the wonderful lying duo, Arihan and Teshuvah!).
Thank you to my favorite areas: the emote room hidden in Amita's tavern, the boulder room with Myke's gravestone.
Thank you to all the funky players that log on every day and make good jokes!

I am, or was, Xerxes, Shatter, and Arihan. They'll remain unchanged forever, with those nasty Brachius descriptions. Sorry mate, you earned them.

Have a good time out there, but remember - there's more to life than getting dual OmniMagic Rings! You can always try to get an +A on your next Calculus test instead.

I don't think I'll check this post again...but if I do, make me all sad and bubbly that I left by replying.

It is sad to hear that you are leaving, old friend. However, I cannot blame you for your decision; in fact, many should follow your example. After a certain point (4+ years of playing), the majority of people simply sit in MAH and just talk, when it would be better to just live his/her life. Hopefully I will be able to do the same soon.
