Default Healing Frost Giant Axemen Build?

So I went on a hiatus for a while (there's just something about Wyvern and Hiatuses isn't there?) and I was looking for a build. I heard from a couple places that healing frost giant axemen were really good so if I could get a build I'd love you forever. If you can include gear or spells to get or basic strategy that'd be really cool. I seem to have forgot everything about the game (not to mention it changes so often) so talk to me like an idiot please. If they got nerfed or there's any other relevant info about my situation please speak up.

Thanks.

If by healing you mean full healing, that was nerfed away. No full healing spell or potions. They both have timers now and neither full heal.

Right I found that out.

Will a basic melee build work through the whole game? Something along the lines of axes, strength, and natural heal? I don't know what other skills are good to have or how much to get of them so I still need direction.

Well I dont have much experience as a meleer but chances are you will need some potions and portable holes to save your skin every now and again.

I guess you could say I have had experience with frost giant axemen...I don't know exactly what is best, seeing that my giant was skill healing until level 21, then was a full healer until level 29 when it was nerfed, and now a skill healer again. But really the basic concept is to have Axes trained at your level, strength maybe 13 trained, + 2 from girdle and +5 from potion, and healing....well, you get 5 from the guild and I have 16 trained on mine at level 30 and he does just fine. Since I still RD alone on him, though, I have 3 lore and 3 incantation after negatives for cure poison. The skills I use for that would be received from 25-30, so instead you could just use unicorn horns for that. Other than that, you don't really need much fw on a giant and you can throw plenty of points in for merchant or whatever you desire and still function very well. It doesn't take too much to be able to train a frostie.

have you experimented with the effect of FW? How much do you use?
Maximizing damage/hit is helpful as it minimizes damage taken by recoil. Given the amount of damage giants do, I wonder what impact it actually has. A well-known fire-giant pally has nearly full FW - I have no idea if that's required though.

Yeah the added cold resistance is like a shot in the knee, can't ever get anything done.

Yes, both Crier and Glacio are handicapped from the start. And they have such a lack of weapons to choose from. I mean cmon, the Jewel of Besar, that is just unfair for the axeman.
