Default Charming Monsters

I just recently starting a summoner type character and there seems to be a lack of commands. maybe someone could compile a thorough list for me or maybe they can tell me to shut up i don't care

I'd like to point out it's not a good idea to try to charm summoned creatures. It makes them hostile to you when the charm wears off.

It is a good idea to charm them to make them do what you want them to, especially if they are monsters that aren't very good without casting spells. Anything becomes hostile when the charm wears off.

If i have enough mind the charm would last quite a while and then i could dispel the summon before it killed me might work. but as for commands there's no real list as far as the spell goes. perhaps maybe i should experiment some more I also only charm if i need to use its spells or if i need to move it. thanks for the input though.

You can command your charmed monster through typing "mon" in front of every command. Like so, "mon north", "mon turn east", "mon cast dragon breath", "mon kill kobold".

It might be a good idea to alias some keys for moving and turning your summon.

I use charming on my mage. Combined with glimpse, wizard eye, and some light source given to the summon, I don't even have to be close for the monster to do its work.

I also ocassionally sucko monkeys and use them to get loot at the end of a dungeon.

That has to be one of the GREATEST ideas I have heard of.

Believe me its a whole new way to play wyvern. Its alot of fun. Wizard eye is a must. but this is alot of fun. if you`re bored of the regular smash and cast play a summoner. alot of fun.

You can't charm from a distance, but you can issue commands from a distance.

I had around 15 mind magic or so, and it usually took multiple tries to charm a wyvern, just make an alias to charm it, so if it fails you can try again before it kills you.
