Rakshasa monk build

I'm Rakshasa Leopard

I really want a rakshasa monk that is good at both magic and melee. Do u know a build? If thats too hard just tell me a healing/common monk build. For magic, which elements should I choose (mind and what?).

Also, can you tell me a good place to make money as a lvl 4-6?

yeah i would suggest focusing on mana shield as a monk

at level 25 this is what i think

20 unarmed trained

12 spirit magic trained... -5 from guild in spirit so you will have 7 to use which is fine

10 strength

10 meditation

20 Find-weakness

3 lore

This is what I would build myself for a rak mana shielding monk, since 20 mind will be given from guild as well as 20 healing, dont worry about training those. 20 mind is about 20 minutes for your mana shield and 20 healing should be plenty for you since you're just a leopard and you wont get any health bonuses from monks guild

That build you wrote is exactly my build except I threw as much of the fw in unarmed as I can.

But ya thats a goood build to work on.

you can have mana shield pots instead of 12 spirit and save some skill points

raks' HP isnt so low, and monks have great healing skill, so you dont have to use max-power mana shield (greater mana shield absorbs much more SP).

I made a rak lion and was planning to join monks guild with him. Anyone know if monks can use any other kind of death protection other than amulet? I assume the topic on the main website is referring to platinum armor, which monks can't use? I was hoping to try a new guild other than caveman..

yeah, i'm caring about that too.
death resist armors what i know are only plat ones, and i'm afraid if there aren't any other ones.
also it's problem for other armor restricted guilds like Rogues.

i'm now running away from deathray users...
50% which dpro ammy gives isn't enough to dodge Thegerim raks' deathray for lvl 23 <.< btw

Let me just clarify this a little bit.

You are never fully immune. So you never have enough to " dodge deathray" at any level.

The amulet was only reduced 15%.

You should always be aware of, and avoid monsters with death ray, at the very least, stay out of the death ray's path when its cast.

So even if you could wear platinum, you are going to have to avoid death ray.

It's.. DEATH RAY.. it's not a fireball...

Death ray resistance does not work like other resistances. So % doenst mean the same thing, it works on the premise of a saving throw.
So 50% is staggeringly high for 1 piece of armor.

Most players do quite well just physically staying out of the ray itself. You will just have to get over the old habit of thinking you can just stand there and live while it blasts you over and over.
