A very long and complicated idea I had.... :D
Just a mad Idea I had for Wyvern....

The game would need to be rebalanced at the same time. Make monsters tougher, make $$$ easier to come by and make xp more difficult to come by, and make items more expensive. The Idea was to make races more role play. Now I could make a dark elf paladin, high elf paladin or a pixie paladin. Clearly this is not what any of these races were designed for. On the other hand 4 pics per level seems to severe an advantage for humans and halflings. a halfling with 4 per level could make an awesome Mage.... (and do) yet tehy are a quite, peaceful, and sneaky race..... Humans, dark elves, pixies, nagas, Leopards, and Storm Giants are mage races (some more so than others.) while Giants as they stand are nearly unbeatable by anything short of another giant, halfling, or human. My biggest problem was the fact that a purely offensive human vs. Purely offensive Stonie is... [b:b088c]Human level 20[/b:b088c] 15 FW 20 (unarmed, swords, axes, clubs, spears, etc.) 20 Strength 1 Lore 14 Incantation 10 Life magic [b:b088c][size=18:b088c]VS:[/size:b088c][/b:b088c] [b:b088c]Stonie level 20[/b:b088c] 20 FW 20 Strength 24 Clubs (4 natural 20 trained) Who would win? [color=red:b088c]HUMAN!!!!!!![/color:b088c] Doesn't seem right does it? With my modified races it would become: [b:b088c]Human Level 20[/b:b088c] 35 FW (20 natural 15 Trained) 30 Strength (10 Natural 20 Trained) 20 (unarmed, swords, axes, clubs, spears, etc.) 1 Lore 14 Incantation 10 Life magic and 130% HP [b:b088c][size=18:b088c]VS:[/size:b088c][/b:b088c] [b:b088c]Stonie level 20[/b:b088c] 20 FW 40 Strength (20 natural 20 trained) 30 Clubs (10 Natural 20 trained) look better? not only that but now a stonie really fits best into cavies guild. However, I really don't know enough about the game to really say whether this would be more or less balanced. I just came up with this and wrote it down before I forgot about it without reguard to reviewing it indepth. Its actually a pretty good idea, but they don't want any innate skills other than the starting ones.

If the stonie uses full healing potions like every self-respecting pk stonie these days then the human doesn't really stand much of a chance.

The Idea was more or less to make a new wyvern. I added in Dwarves (forgot all about them lol) and of cours HP would need to be recalculated. and not neccesarily the human could use minor heal at 1 mana a pop to heal. They would be a LOT more balanced then they are now. wieghts to might need to be tweaked.

Also mabey instead natural and trianed could be calculated together. That would leave a lot of skill points for players to do unusual things with.

but then again aren't pixies supposed to be magical beings? I just don't know enough about the game mechanics to tell how unbalancing such skills would become. The Idea was to make the races just as ballanced as they are now, but also make certain races suitable for only cerfain things.

you know something is wrong when a level 12 can take out any dragon but arch Dracos.....

Salkand.... look up and look at my modified races.... my races would do a lot to fix half of the problem (making certain races unsuitable for certain things) I aggree though that certainthings should be fixed. I am now building a death mage just to show how unbalancig certain combos can really be. (just wait eveyone!!!!)
