Default Blades

I was thinking of creating a rogue and i was just wondering what falls under the "blades" category. I haven't seen many around... at least i don't think i have. Any help on this subject would be appreciated.

the best blade-weapon around is a unicorn-horn. it has no min-level. is very durable, repairs itself and is quite powerfull :-)

Thanks for the info Bins, but aren't there any smithing type blades? Like a diamond blade? <.<

other blades would include: scimitars, daggers, curved blades, etc. (basically anything that looks like a sword but doesn't say "sword" in its name)

The blade-type that can be smithed is the dagger. Mith daggers, diamond daggers, electrinum daggers. I don't *think* you can make a massive one, but I could be wrong.

A massive dagger would a bit... Counterproductive.

Also, the Unicorn Horn has a special function - applying it will cure you of poison.

There are also a few Artifact blades. I know the Slicer is one, but I'm not sure about the others, since I haven't even touched an Artifact for two whole years (more than 3 years if you count the downtime). Also, the Vorpal Blade is not a blade.

Not only will a applying a Unicorn Horn cure poison, it but it will also cure blindness confusion and paralysis. Thus making it a very handy thing to carry around even if you aren't using blades. Though they cannot be repaired at the blacksmith, they will repair themselves over time, as binsenkind said. And although they have a limited number of applications the uses will recharge over time. I think.. >.<

Edition: I forgot to mention that only one ailment can be cured at a time, thus if you have multiple ailments mentioned above then you will have to apply the horn multiple times.

A blessed Unicorn horn will cure all ailments at once.

Kathy, I'm pretty sure it only does 2 at once. I usually have to apply it twice to get rid of all.
