LQ ideas
Guild Wars-exactly what it says every guild is in a battle against each other, a giant PK, everyone can only die once. Survivors of the winning guild gets prizes
Good and evil(Benevolent & Malevolent)-Wizards choose good or evil and you side with a wizard... Kill the wizards of the other side to win. killing other players while you're at it.

yeah
a giant monster terrorizes the land of wyvern players come together to defeat it the end but yeah your guild wars idea is something i've proposed far in the past..still hope to see it some day. your good and evil one would never pass..wizards aren't allowed to PK there was a time when they were, which was awesome because their stats were extremely juiced up obviously, but whatever.

How about this one, it looks like a real LQ, but once you're in line of sight of the LQ boss, you're teleported into an area where it's only you and the boss, no outside help, and whoever defeats their boss first wins the LQ? Sounds like death to me, something that Binyamin might do eh? eh? *wink wink nudge nudge Binyamin*

Yes, the guild versus guild idea has been suggested and mentioned to death. It's even been brought up by wizards publically in the past.
As for your second idea...no. Wizards do not, will not, and cannot participate in any combat oriented aspect of the game. Please don't even bother suggesting ideas that involve us like that. |

How about an lq where CUTE AND FLUFFY ANIMALS GO SCURRYING AROUND THE WORLD MAP AND WHOEVER CATCHES THE MOST, WINS =D! YAY FLUFFY ANIMALS! =D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't say you couldn't. I just said to leave wizards out of those types of ideas - If you want to restructure it so it's all about players and npcs, feel free.

How about an LQ where you go around killing as many NPCs as you can and the player who kills the most wins

Running a reverse capture the flag would be fun. When portal shows up, another building does, containing a key, to a room somewhere in the portal. When someone grabs the key, people who already in the portal try to ambush the key carrier.Add some monsters to keep the ambushers occupied, should be fun

How about a war?
Not another LQ where there's a giant LQ monster...or there could obviously be a leader or whatever, but the death of that leader doesn't mean the end of the war and thus the end of the LQ. Well pretty much a bunch of wyverneers come together to fight an invasion from an empire in another land looking to expand. every single soldier from the other land has to be defeated for the lq to be over. Who ever kills the most will win. Slightly magic resistant, so mages will have a chance..because of their AoE damage potential obviously. there would also be individual prizes given to those players who defeat or deal the most damage to the generals of the army. Maybe there could be some elaborate story line put in place to set up for the war. The whole war could be an allusion of WWII and the empire's of the day, with a fantasy theme of course. |

man, the whole war idea would be awesome, let alone anything similar with a story. i think that if there were updated stories within wyvern that interacted with live quest, the game would feel more interactive and alive. for example, if you wanted to pull off the war idea you could lead up to it by updating what npc's say when people talk to them. so before a war occured, you would have several npc's discuss tension between another are hinting a war lq(if npc updating is possible). live quests, uddated npc's, and noticable map adjustments would be the key to making wyvern feel like an actual day to day adventure....i think..maybe.hehe
