Default Paladin Race

I wanted to know which would be best for a full healing pally out of the 5

Stone Giant, Storm Giant, Fire Giant, Frost Giant, or Dwarf

Which would be the best, needs to have enough to cast resist petrify as well... unless the platinum armor dpro to covers petrification.

Also what does plat armor do i hear some % of Dpro and 10 dodge and non bungle

I was thinking equipping
Imp Crown
Amulet of Eagle/Free action(or self control) (after getting wings of fae)
Platinum Armor?
Wings of fae/ Cloak of agility 10
Platinum Boots?
Platinum Shield?
Platinum Gloves?
Platinum Sword?/Massive Balanced ... Sword
Ring of Enhanced pro/Ring of Free action
Ring of Greater pro/Ring of Melee protection
Chilling bracelet
Girdle of Strength

i'm not sure if any of the platinum items i listed exist but uh....yea if you could let me know that'd be great thanks

I would say dwarf would be easiest because of more sp so requiring less incantation, however, good luck on getting an imp crown/ chilling bracelet.

I would personally reccomend stone giant if you want an easy class to play. because you can wear e-pro ring as a stone giant without an problems if you have 4+ plat items.

plat armor = 10% death resistance, 25% confusion resistance, +10 dodge, non-bungle, a small light field, and NO petri resist.

That's why I said a stone giant. Also the 4 platinum pieces are to counteract the -35% death protection....

To think. Someone trying to outsmart me on wyvern....

A green slime has enough brains to outsmart your sorry hide.

Had you read the thread, you would have realized he meant the best race FOR a paladin.

I know what he meant. Doesn't change the fact that he wrote paladin race.

Uh. Hi. Again, it's not like he meant that Paladins are a race.

Thanks Silico,
Why does everyone here have to make smart alec responses to my stuff

I'm just being lazy and saving space, can't you see the sense in typing "Paladin race" rather than "The SUPER DE DUPER BEST RACE FOR PALADIN!!!"

Best race for paladin
-Paladin race

Best for

Best for = 2 words.

It's 2 extra words, not one.

deends on the level....
really it does....
I mean it (drunk and sobre)...
end game, I'd go fire giant for sure... mostly my experience playing peacy using 25% fire resist now for rding. so yea... you would be able to dump the fire resist ring and get a petri resist providing a greater resist at the cost of less hp but more mana and more fire resist since petri resist doesn't really matter

Bah..humans all the way. Being a paladin as a human you have tons of skill points to throw around, which makes that 25% fire resist really insignificant. You have the skills to train 5 more life and get the petri resist spell. Not only that but incant+meditation+lore doesn't choke your skills because you have so many, so you can train as much as you need and still have enough left over for skills like merchant and so on. Fire giants are second best for paladin. Humans FTW.

Ahah my turn to bash at you with your points to "through" around... but anyway back to business, humans would get butchered by LQ monsters (plus my computer is really slow) i'd think. I was leaning toward either stone giant or fire giant. Also does plat have any negatives?
