The wonderous game of airsoft.
Post: #1Airsoft
We'll this new "sport" of mine, or at least one I am attempting to get into, is airsoft. Currently I am endorsing this one site. https://www.speedytoys.com/shop/?affilli...W108073180 It's a great game, gets you out of the house for some fun experiences. But I suggest you read up on all local laws before attempting to guy an airsoft gun. Things to know. 1. Do not remove the orange tip. Law requires you have it to ship only, but if you don't want to get into trouble with authorities. Do not remove the orange tip. 2. I was told that you could play airsoft anywhere, as long as it wasn't near the road. Private property, without owners consent. Near banks, Etc. But I would suggest asking your local police officer before making assumptions. 3. Do not shoot anyone without their permission. Do not wave, or show your airsoft gun in a threatening manner. Use a case in order to transport your gun. 4. Know your local velocity laws. 5. Know all laws in your local neighborhood. Some states do not allow airsoft at all, as well as some countries. You are responsible for obtaining all this information for youself. Very important things to know. GET A MASK. Eyeware is not enough. You will regret not wearing a mask, believe me. In all, it's a great game to play. Please, distribute this link to all your friends. It's not a game you can play by yourself. But it is great fun.

Yea, airsoft is fun, but i'm not even aloud to play, because of this stupid neighborhood rule. When i played, it was in the woods, and the whole mask thing, yea, you need it because i've gotten shot in the eye before ...Other than that its pretty much safe if you can take a shot from one on the arm or something (they don't hurt that bad).

This is a recent picture of me and a few friends during our last airsoft match. I am standing on the right with the digital camo
http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/phot...32576_1434.jpg Unfortunately this picture doesn't show my new scope for that gun. But yes, it is cool.

How can authorities be sure it's an airsoft gun and not a gun with an orange tip?.. think about it from a distance

Which is why I said know your local laws. Anyway, hopefully they will see the orange tip and just say drop it and down on the ground, then they will check the gun. I suggest you do as they say if it does pose a problem.

Hehe excellent suggestion salkand. I remember looking at this a few years back but didn't get to go out and play it (if that is the right phrase). Well, just now I found a team that are willing to let me come with them without buying a gun first and try it out. Bet it will be fun :-)
Cheers for the tip.

Yeah, it's well worth the money, but to correct something I said in my first post.
I myself find the full face mask bothersome, as they get in the way of the scope, and fog up (most likely because I need that anti fog spray reapplied). Safety glasses will work just fine, as long as you don't mind getting shot in the face area.
