Default Mind magic/Find weakness

I was just wondering if anyone had any info on how find weakness affects mind magic spells. Does it sometimes allow you to paralyze/confuse/fear/slow monsters that would otherwise be immune? Or does it really not affect mind spell at all. I have no experience with this.

I believe Find-Weakness only affects sources of damage. Since those mind magic spells don't deal damage it won't affect it.

Also, the spell 'slow' is earth magic.

Dracco is correct. FW only ever increased the probability of landing a critical strike/bypassing armor and such. You would have to increase your mind magic to try and bypass the normal limits.

Thought I'd note that there's no way to bypass 'immunity' in the first place, to the best of my knowledge. But high levels of mind magic (I have 20 or so) will go a long ways towards affecting monsters that would otherwise not be 'vulnerable'. Including players..

Regardless, i was just inquiring because i was interested about making a mind based archer and since the archer guild gets find-weakness i just didn't know if it would help out or not. I still think the mind/archer idea could work fairly well, depending on how much i can invest in it. Could be fun.

It'd definitely be an interesting idea. Haven't had much time to play around with mind magic on my archer, but I use it all the time on Kama.

As a bonus, if you train at least 9 Mind Magic, you can have yourself a pretty good Free Action spell. I know quite a few archers that self-cast FA. It's *almost* mandatory, imo.

Nonsense! Just buy an Ultimate Ring of Free Action from me for 450k. It is a win win, I swear. I don't just want your money. *Greedy cackle*
