I dont think Wyvern would profit from a cleric sub-guild.

I'm glad you went into detail as of why.

If you think about it, Paladin's are a combination of Knights and Clerics, so if anything, Clerics would be the guild and paladin's would be the sub-guild.

So in answer to your question. . . No. Wyvern wouldn't profit from this, IMO.

Paladins should be able to use any weapon they want. I dont like my paladin using a sword only. Lul at the axemans guild

Paladins would benefit from a laundry sub-guild, they're way too smelly.

*A Cleric has cast RESURRECTION on this thread!*

Other guilds take over the traditional Cleric territory, namely Paladins and a few others. And letting Paladins use other weapons besides swords is silly.

It takes years to master a single weapon. Sure, let them use multiple weapons, but at a penalty to attack.

... OH WAIT.

*Turns Undead*

Begone, vile beast!

Well, I really do not see why they get bonuses for swords, they should be able to use any weapon they like. I personally do not like the idea of using swords.

Yes, it does take many years to master a weapon. I would like to have the choice to master the weapon I want, without any penalties.

Paladin Guildmaster: Welcome to the Paladin's Guild!
Player: OH MY GOD, thanks!
Paladin Guildmaster: You will get all these other benefits, but you MUST use a sword.
Player: A sword? But, I have been using axes all this time.
Paladin Guildmaster: Do not question the guilds authority, or else we will strive your powers as a paladin.
Player: Well, I am not going to be using some sort of sword, where did this rule come from anyways? This is the damn Paladin's guild, not the Swordsman's guild.
Paladin Guildmaster: That is an interesting question, I myself do not know why we are bestowed with such prowess with the sword itself...
Player: Well, you can count me out, I am going to go join the Axeman's Guild....
Paladin Guildmaster:

You already touched on the answer to your question. If you are wanting to use axes, join the guild that spec's in axes. Paladins are skilled in swords, hence why you use a sword. You can use axes as a paladin, but you won't gain guild xp. If you don't like using swords, then you aren't cut out to be a paladin.

Wrong, in Wyvern the Paladin's guild is the swordsman guild.

Paladins use swords! I thought they fought with their stench! Shows how much I know.

They kill with their stench, while holding a sword. The sword is used like a fan to spread the stench faster.

So if anything, we should take away their swords and give them some real fans. . . Or soap, I vote for soap!

No thanks, I would rather join the bow and arrow guild. That way I can give people arrows in their knees.
