Default Problems installing

I'm trying to reinstall the game and everything I run the installer a message pops up saying:

JExpress Installer: Error

Unable to start the install wizard.
Are the destination or temporary directories out of disk space?
See errors.log for other possible causes.
See errors.log and jinstall.log files for deails.

I have excluded the process in my antivirus and no changes.
My temporary directories are not out of disk space
I'm on the adminstrator account, and I have java installed on this pc.

Can anyone help me?

What do errors.log and jinstall.org say? If it's a very big file you can copy/paste them over at pastebin.org

Do you have full access to the directory you're writing to?

Assuming basic security is still setup, it should be allright. If you want to check you need to change to advanced security. And I don't recommend it unless you know what you're doing. (You can change it through your folder options).

YOu might want to try this first:

Open a command prompt window. (Start-run-type cmd)
In that window type: echo %temp%

This will give back your temp folder. YOu might want to check that drive to see if it has sufficient space.

edit:
While you're at it, you might want to delete everything in this folder to clean up your drive. (make sure there isn't anything in it you want to keep)

I ran the command prompt and this is what I got

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner> echo %temp%
C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1>\Temp

That does what exactly? places the folder inside documents and settings/owner/localsettings

I check the folder temp and it's occupying around 17.6mbs. How do I tell if it has any room? Wouldn't it just be the same as the amount of HDS I have?

It's using the "C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1>\Temp" folder to temporary store files while unpacking. This is actually "C:\Documents and settings\Owner\Local settings\temp", but in the old 8.3 DOS filename system. I assume the > isn't part of the folder name. it might give problems.

How much space do you have left on your c: drive? It should be at least 100Mb, as the installation directory will grow while playing, when it retrieves new artwork from the server.

That rules out disk space problems. Gong through the log there's also the possibility that your firewall prohibits installation of java executables. You might want to try installing with the firewall turned off, it's probably wise to disconnect (ie. unplug the cable/dongle) from the internet while doing that.

Very strange, maybe you could try to upgrade your JVM or redownload the installer.

If all else fails you may want to try the pure Java download. and run the client through a .bat file in the client folder of the Wyvern client.

put this in your Wyvern.bat file (all in one line):
call javaw -Ddebug.startup=false -cp .;client.jar;content.jar;jl020.jar;jogg-0.0.5.jar;jorbis-0.0.12.jar;mp3sp.1.5.jar;vorbisspi0.7.jar wyvern.client.Client

Reinstall failed, tried on both firefox and windows explorer.

Downloaded and ran purejava, it installed and I am able to log in, is there a reason I need to include that line in the batch file? I logged in without it.

if it works don't worry about it, just wasn't sure if the pure java version had the correct batch file
