My messy skill set.
Ok, so I've realized my skill set is whack. Yeah, I have. I need more find weakness, meditation, and a decent mana shield. I have decided to start using potions for mana shield and forget the spell and untrain the one spirit magic skill I currently have (although I haven't done this yet). I also untrained strength and instead I trained two earth magic and bought two rings of earth magic to cast a strength spell that gives me five strength... which isn't really enough.
So I need some suggestions. Here is where I stand: Death Magic: 5 (all from training) Dodging: 29 (1 from natural ability, 28 from magical effects) Earth Magic: 2 (all from training) Enchantment: 1 (all from training) Find-weakness: 11 (all from training) Fire Magic: 4 (all from training) Healing: 3 (all from training) Life Magic: 4 (all from training) Lore: 8 (all from training) Meditation: 3 (2 from training, 1 from natural ability) Merchant: 5 (all from training) Mind Magic: 2 (all from training) Ranged Weapons: 32 (24 from training, 2 from natural ability, 6 from magical effects) Sneaking: 3 (all from magical effects) Strength: 5 (all from magical effects) Water Magic: 1 (all from training) I am an archer, for the most part, but I cast resists and a few mind spells and summoning and stuff too. Death magic is for magic whip and summon undead. I know, I know, a level 24 should not be summoning an ettin zombie, but it's fun and helps more than you'd think, lol. Sure it can't kill most the things I fight, but it can still keep them off of me. The Earth magic is for the strength spell, like I said, but also for petri resist and slow. The enchantment is for casting resists. Fire magic is for fire resist... obviously, and flame shield, lolz, and maybe berserk in the future. Mind magic is for knock and paralysis. Water magic is just for cold resist; I don't fight cold monsters much though, so it's not really worth training more than what it is. Oh, and life is for resist length, resist magic, and summon animal... hopefully someday I shall obtain a wand of summon insect too and get a good charger. *giggles* Here are the spells I currently know: Lore 1: - blink (Incantation of Spirit) - bravery (Enchantment of Life and Mind) - knock (Incantation of Mind) - magic whip (Conjuration of Air and Death) - resist cold (Enchantment of Water and Life) - resist fire (Enchantment of Fire and Life) - resist shock (Enchantment of Air and Life) Lore 2: - resist magic (Enchantment of Life and Spirit) Lore 3: - mana shield (Enchantment of Spirit) - resist petrify (Enchantment of Earth and Life) - slow (Evocation of Earth) - speed (Enchantment of Air) - strength (Enchantment of Earth and Life) - summon animal (Conjuration of Life) [bit of fur] Lore 4: - paralysis (Evocation of Mind) Lore 5: - free action (Enchantment of Life and Mind) Lore 6: - flame shield (Conjuration of Fire) [sulfur, pixie dust] - summon undead (Conjuration of Death) [graveyard dirt] Lore 7: - bless (Enchantment of Life) - invisibility (Enchantment of Air) [pixie dust] I use all of those spells on a regular basis. And I know a lot of you are gonna' say that I should forget the stupid summoning and blah blah blah, but it brings joy to my Wyvern life, seeing my little viper go out and attack an orca whale. And the more summons the marrier! Wyvern isn't just about progress and being the best/strongest and gaining xp and blah blah blah; it's kind of sort of supposed to be fun too. And now after that I doubt any of you will take me seriously, lol, but I still want advice. So what should I do? |

Get some spirit get rid of some of the unnecessary magic skills like death fire maybe get 5 lore and use remove curse... if you have to have invis get potions or use ring or cloak... you can get by with 2 or 3 merchant....

I explained my uses for death and fire. I prefer to have bless... so I can bless things. I considered untraining merchant but I don't know, I think I'd regret it. Thanks for your input. |

This is because it's the first one ever posted that doesn't involve spam healing. :D

Meh, well power is kind of overrated, but I do need to level faster so I can have more skillpoints to use. So I can summon a stronger animal. Logwad... why would I need spam healing? xD I r archer, foo'. You should know. I actually went ahead and untrained a healing skill, because I really don't need it. (I trained meditation more, for those who want to know) |

A part of me wants to re-do your whole skill set, saying "It's entirely wrong and wastes skill points."
But the other part of me doesn't want to redo it, because it doesn't need to be redone. In fact, because you justify why you trained every single point you have, I don't think I could tell you to change a single skill point. I actually like the skill set you have. |

I was merely commenting on the lack of spam healing in your set, not saying you needed it. ;D
