This is just a few of the unfulfilled promises from Rhialto. And this was just on bringing back an existing game, let alone creating a new one. I would go through all of the threads and find each promise, but I just realized after spending about an hour on this that it'd be a huge endeavor to find all of the promises. However, I encourage you to trudge through all of the old posts within the last few years and find all the relevant reading material. Whether you will or will not remain optimistic is up to you, but I am an optimist and I've given up all but a glimmer of hope.
