did marriages get disabled

I was just curious...

Karrah 01-11-2008 05:51 PM

I think so. The Wedding store isn't available, and wizards aren't marrying players anymore...

stonenator 01-11-2008 05:54 PM

awww, I miss the marriage thing, I thought it was pretty cool lol

Not having those things does not disable marriages. They were stupid little things that meant nothing to anyone but those involved in them. You can still get your friends together for a wedding and have one of them act as the person marrying you, (which, btw, is how marriages work in most online games - The admins supporting them in Wyvern for that brief period of time is not a common thing) but we will not participate in them or support them in any way form or shape.

so no wedding bands and such?

Duender 01-11-2008 06:52 PM

Meh, why would you want to get married in a game? D:
There are no benefits.

Are you kidding? Where will we get all that drama when people split up, from? :\

I guess I should start explaining myself more elaborately. I meant classic "weddings" are inactive, the ones with the wizard and the rings and the vows and on and on...

the "stupid little things".

I remember once when about twenty people ran around in tuxes looking for brides. Ridiculous.

stonenator 01-11-2008 07:23 PM

haha, I remember that!
