Install troubles on Mac

I'm currently running a Mac Os x, and when I try to run the Jexpressinstall, it does nothing. Doesn't even show up in the bottom bar. No idea whats happening there :/

I'm having a similar problem. The JExpressInstaller is on my desktop, but does nothing when I click on it. It used to give me an error message saying it couldn't find JRE 1.4.1 on my system, but I thought it was included in 1.4.2?

Use the Pure Java version for now.

Creativity 12-28-2007 01:34 PM

Tried that. Same thing happens. Absolutely nothing. But should the entire package only have four items?

Info.plist
pkginfo
jinstall.bin
jinstall.command

Tried opening jinstall.command on its own but it says it's not executible. Trying to get as much info out there as I can but I don't even know what someone will need to fix this x.x

Do you have the lastest version of java? sometimes after downloading it you need to restart your computer before you download the wyvern stuff.

Downloading now, hopefully this will work :)

Alright, restarted, downloaded the linux version. This time the linux version appeared on the desktop as a .jar file, which It didn't do that the first time, but now it works, thanks for the help guys :)

For anyone with the same problem...

Update java, restart computer, make sure your the only user signing on, download the linux version, run. All should be well :)

Had the same problem, used the Linux version, it works. Thank you Creativity for being the first to solve a problem.
