Nagas

I would like information on starting, training, HoFing a naga. Skills and whatnot. Maybe like a cookie-cutter build or two to look at. Which is better, monk or caveman? Stuff like that.

I'm considering doing one if I ever want a new character. Not an invitation to dissuade me, I just want to know all there is to know about nagas.

If you want to be a healing naga it is easier to go into the monks guild. You dont get a negative in the incantation skill. Skills wise you cant really go wrong unless you train in find-weakness. Having max strength is the best thing for a naga.

A few more questions that crossed my mind:

Full heal nagas are a real thing, right? Better or worse than spam healing?

What's the strength cap?

Nightswift 12-27-2007 01:49 AM

Strength cap is 20, you can full heal but you dont really need to until a lvl after like 23, and full heal is better if your a higher lvl naga.

Cool, thanks a million.

Nightswift 12-27-2007 01:59 AM

Oh and if you were wondering how to heal besides full heal. Use rods they rock. Start with minor and work your way up to major as you see fit.

Steovanni 12-27-2007 02:38 AM

Someone told me that Find-Weakness is good :\.

Nightswift 12-27-2007 02:45 AM

Someone lied >_>. I didnt say it was bad persay. Its just bad at lower levels.

Steovanni 12-27-2007 03:01 AM

Soo, Is it good or bad to have it? X.X

Nightswift 12-27-2007 03:09 AM

I would say train it after lvl 25ish. Thats just me though. Your skillpoints could be put into more useful skills.

Steovanni 12-27-2007 03:12 AM

:o, Like what?

Nightswift 12-27-2007 03:15 AM

Off the top of my head... Strength, unarmed, Incantation, maybe some merchant... This is all based on what I like though. Im merely giving suggestions so feel free to take them or leave them.

Steovanni 12-27-2007 03:21 AM

Incantation sounds nice, I'll have to check my skills when the game comes up

Nightswift 12-27-2007 03:23 AM

Yea since monks dont get a negative in the Incantation skill you can train to 14 very easy. Incantation helps reduce the mana cost per heal. Very useful for healing nagas and rod using nagas. I also forgot the obvious skill Meditation. Having a large amount of Meditation is key to creating a good naga.

Steovanni 12-27-2007 03:26 AM

Thanks for the tips Nightswift XD.

Nightswift 12-27-2007 03:28 AM

Anytime. All ya need to do is ask ;)

Steovanni 12-27-2007 03:31 AM

Most people keep skillsets etc secret :\. Sometimes impossible to ask for help lol.

Nightswift 12-27-2007 03:36 AM

Most skillsets I keep are secret because they are unique and allow you to train a variety of different ways. I have no problem giving out genaric skillsets that allow you to tweak them to your liking. I believe that people should figure out most secrets/things by themselves but it doesnt hurt to push them in the direction a little bit. ;)

in response to Nightswifts comment on using rods..I second that, but as a warning at times when I needed rods most they ran out on me and I died..so just as a warning anybody who wants to make a rod healing naga....^^^ don't forget it happens. Because that and that alone my naga doesn't use rods. I have a bad computer and I lag alot so that might have been part of it..

So make an alias to get rid of the empty and replace it with the new. Easy.
