Question about magic whip.
If you raise your death skill level with equips and stuff before you cast the conjuration, and then put on your normal agi equips, does the death from the start still benefit?

I believe so, yes. Because when you cast the spell you have X in that skill, when you remove the items giving you the bonuse the original casting of that spell still had and should continue to have X in that skill/spell.

Okay, thanks. This might change my build a little on my ranger. Gonna lower death a lil, maybe by 2, or whatever imp crown adds. (+death ammy?)
Also, I'm assuming this goes the same for static blade and Air magic.

Yes it should work the same for all magic. Sorry I didn't know if you assumption was rhetorical or not so I answered anyway.

The only spell that I know for sure that doesn't work is mana shield.
Everything else seems to work great this way, resists, strength, speed, see invisible... etc. etc.

i thought it worked with everything, why is mana shield different?

I would guess mana shield is different because you have to constantly keep it up, and I suppose it rechecks your spirit level every hit or something.

Using Equips when casting works for every spell, if the magic level that you have trained + the equips does not exceed your player level. Ex: If you have 10 fire trained, and 3 from magical effects when casting, and you are level 12, only 12 fire will be used. But if you are level 25, with -5 in an element, and you have 5 from magical effects, then you now have 0 ;p countering the negatives.
