I wasnt trying to be rude just saying were have you been to not know its down,

Some people may not have played Wyvern before and only find it via the forums. Other people may have played, but did not know where the forums where. This forum has no indication of Wyvern being down for an extended period of time. So pointing the person where that information is located is helpful.

It will come up as soon as Rhialto is able. He is working as hard as he can, and the wizards do have an announcement thread for such topics as this.

well, my last version of wyvern was in www.cabochon.com, but when i acces the site now, it says it don't exist. Does this happens to you too? and do you know another site for downloading it the game?

its not dead. R is recoding the game or something that i dont really understand. ask bullfrogz or salkand or arilou or teshuvah or clubbz or somone

The game and the website are both hosted by the same server. So when R took down the server to work on it, the website had to go down also.

well, so theres a new question, when this site update is gonna end??
i think the site is not working for kinda 4 or 5 months. isn't that enough?
the update of other games take like 1 day

The updates of other games are worked on by dozens of people who get paid a lot of money. Rhialto gets paid nothing and is only one person, and he's also apparently run into unexpected problems during the update, so it's understandable that it's taking so long.

Nay, it was taken down in mid september, because it had been down for a week by the time I had gotten my computer fixed.....

Narowa, please don't complain about it being down, we all know it's down and it has been down for quite a while. However, as I and others have stated before, wyvern is not the most important thing in Rhialto's life, he has a job, a family and possibly other personal things which come before wyvern. You should just be glad that he has been trying to get wyvern back up. It had originally started as a short downage which should have taken a week, but when he had looked at all the temporary fixes he had put into the server he realized that it would be a lot more work. Please don't ask for guesstemites(yes I said guesstemites) on how long wyvern will be down, as even if we could get one, it is unlikely that it would be anywhere near accurate.

*looks around* arilou usually sniffs threads like this out and snaps at the one who makes em...so where is that lil snaky demon when ya need him -_-

But, as clubbz said, wyvern isn't a top priority (unless maybe you'd like to give R a reason to make it a priority -like giving him a new server and pay for a norton 'full package' (anti-virus, firewall, etc.) subscription.)

I really really want to play wyvern again... what happened to wyvern? i did some searching around but i cant find much... all i could find about wyvern coming back online that was directly from him was in his blogs, which he said "...I have an obligation to get my computer game, Wyvern, back online: an obligation to some 50,000 players (out of 250,000 who've tried the game) that I dursn't easily turn my back on.". He said that back in 2006. Did he give up? Will wyvern ever be back???? What happened?

It went down for momentary fixes, but then realized there were lots of holes to be patched. This was about September last year.
