Sokoban items can only be used by the player who won it. Maybe you should read the news archives some time - it gives you a lot of information about the game that the manual and tutorial doesn't.

Not always, there are a few items that some players have/had that any player who was the appropriate size could wear....Sygma bought a Soko hat that anyone could wear until Tesh fixed it for him.
