Instaling wyvern in linux Ubuntu 7.10
 

hi im new to this ubuntu thing and i want to instal wyvern in it and i dont know how to install it and i dont have java neather.

can someone help me in what java should i install and how to intall wyvern in it?

Ok.. this is to install java:
$ sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre


Next step will be to download wyvern, so go to a folder you would like it to download and:
$ wget http://www.cabochon.com/downloads/je...ne/install.jar

next step is install (might require sudo in front):
$ java -jar install.jar

and the last thing would probably be to use the create launcher on your desktop and in the command bit, fill this in:
sh /wyvern/client/wyvernclient
