New Password Function on Site

Have any of you used the New Password function on the site recently? I used it on a few of my accounts, and I didn't receive any emails about it. So, I can't get the new passwords. Please advise, thanks.

If you're having any problem with it, it's with your email provider. First thing you should do is check to make sure it's not being sent to a spam folder. Beyond that, AOL (for example) is notorious for being a pain with our emails. Sometimes our emails don't get through at all, sometimes one or two (out of several requests) will get through after day or more (according to certain players who have had to deal with this). So, keep trying to request a new password and if it ever comes through I'd recommend immediately changing your email address so it doesn't happen again (Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail are all common free that don't have any reported problems as far as I'm aware). If you don't get anything, after several days of this, you'll have to contact your email provider and ask them why you aren't receiving emails from Cabochon.

Ah, I see.

Well, I'm using a hotmail account and the junk section is empty. I've been trying to get the new password for weeks, and it still hasn't come.

Anyway I tried the New Password function with another hotmail account and it worked perfectly fine.

I guess there's something wrong with that particular email I'm using. I'll try contacting hotmail about this problem. Thanks anyway.

Do you have any filters that forward mails from cabochon.com ?

Nope, I didn't have any filters. I've also checked the "Blocked senders" list.

I found the solution though.

I went to Options>More Options>Safe and Block senders>Safe senders

and added the addresses "accounts-noreply@cabochon.com" and "wyvern@cabochon.com" to the Safe senders list. Now, I'm getting the emails.

Thanks for the help, guys.
