I just recently increased my nerdiness level about tenfold and started playing Warhammer 40k. I'm really really bad at it admitingly. But I figured a few people here probably play and wouldn't mind conversing about it as something to pass time while waiting for Wyvern to come back in around 2015-2016 time-frame.

I play Tyranid even though I know the new codex for it comes out in january. I still figured they looked the coolest though my friend constantly is pummeling my with lascannons before I can even reach him. We play 1000 points and he's Space Marines.

I'm a Guardsmen myself, fell in love with the basilisks and hydra batteries very early on, usually play in the 1-1.5k region points wise as well it's good times all around.
